Job summary

Advocate Health's Greensboro Friendly Center Urgent Care is seeking a 2nd shift X-ray Tech for full-time evening coverage. The role performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, confirms patient identity, and collaborates with radiologists.

Graduate ARRT radiologic tech; registry eligible within 1 year; BLS required. Competitive compensation with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance; benefits include PTO and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire; BLS required.
• Knowledge of patient safety and correct patient positioning.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history for the procedure on the requisition.
• Verifies patient identity before procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and physicians as needed.
• Operates equipment and demonstrates proper positioning.
• Maintains accurate departmental records.
