Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a 2nd shift X-ray Tech for our Friendly Center Urgent Care in Greensboro, NC. This full-time position includes evenings and requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology education and registry eligibility, with BLS certification.

You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, document history, verify patient identity, prepare contrast media, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure quality images and patient safety. Benefits and sign-on bonus apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire. BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
