Job Summary and Qualifications
- You will operate x‑ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
- Under the supervision of a Radiologist, your role performs x‑ray therapy on patients and explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
- Your role will serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services as well.
- You will perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
- Your role will be responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient‑care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.
Qualifications
- Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
- Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
