HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver, CO, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to cross-train and operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images. The role involves working under Radiologist supervision to support radiography procedures across in-hospital, emergency, and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate holds AMA Radiology Program credentials, ARRT registration, and BLS certification, with a commitment to high-quality patient care and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
• Maintain ARRT registry through continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT‑R) Radiography.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform x-ray procedures and explain them to patients.
• Serve patients in the ED, hospital, and outpatient settings.
• Perform procedures per established protocols for patients from neonate to geriatric.
• Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results.

Hourly Wage Estimate: $26.65 - $41.10 / hour

Shift will be 8:30a - 7:00p, Monday - Thursday.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will operate x‑ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, your role performs x‑ray therapy on patients and explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
• Your role will serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services as well.
• You will perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
• Your role will be responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient‑care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
• Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
