Job summary

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and provide patient care across age groups from neonatal to geriatric. The role requires ARRT registration, CPR/BLS certification, and a minimum of two years of radiography experience.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of clinical radiography experience preferred.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in his/her department. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures. In this role:

  • You will provide health care services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • You will perform radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential to successful completion of the procedure. Provide services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
  • You will remain calm in crisis and emergency situations, and direct staff members effectively and appropriately.
  • You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team.

What qualifications you will need:

  • High school graduate or Equivalent Degree
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
  • Registry eligible within 90 days
  • Current CPR certificate in Basic Life Support
  • Two years or more clinical experience in Radiography preferred.
