Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center in Virginia is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures under supervision, ensuring radiation safety and high-quality patient care.

Required ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology with Clinical experience; BLS; state licensure preferred; 1 year in radiation safety or radiology support; EPIC/PACS experience preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Associates from an ARRT-accredited institute (preferred).
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• State licensure (preferred, unless required by the state of work).
• BLS certification at hire for certain locations; preferred or prior to independent care.
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred).
• Experience with Radiology Information System (RIS) (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Obtains patient's clinical history and relevant lab work for licensed practitioner use.
• Positions the patient to best demonstrate the area of interest, ensuring comfort.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verifies informed consent and completes pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures.
• Performs timeout as required by policy.
• Identifies, prepares and/or administers medications/contrast as prescribed.
