Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Technologist Assistant to support technologists and keep the imaging area running smoothly. The role covers 70% technologist assistance, 20% cleaning/organization and 5% other duties, with a full-time schedule Tue–Fri, including 8- and 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities include monitoring schedules, assisting with patient prep, and maintaining a neat environment. RAYUS offers comprehensive benefits and daily pay options on a qualifying basis.

Qualifications

• Monitors schedules for all modalities and exams.
• Greets and escorts patients to changing room; briefly explains procedure.
• Prepares patient jackets and compiles films with dates and numbers.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists in room setup between patients and ensure proper coil placement.
• Prepare the next patient for scanning to optimize scheduling.
• Restores and networks previous exams for next day’s patients.
• Stocks and cleans MRI room and imaging areas.
• Organizes supply closets and radiology work areas.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
