RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Technologists Assistant II in Boynton Beach, FL for a part‑time role (approximately 18 hours/week) with evening shifts from 4:30pm to 8:00pm. The incumbent will support technologists with patient intake, history, and procedure assistance while ensuring smooth scheduling and patient flow.

Requirements include being at least 16 years old and having one year of experience as a Technologists Assistant (I).

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age
• 1 year experience as a Technologists Assistant (I) preferred or required by listed duties

Responsibilities

• Monitors schedules for all modalities and imaging procedures; coordinates with technologists
• Greets and escorts patients to changing room and explains procedure
• Prepares patient jackets and films in order and with correct dating
• Assists technologists in room setup and patient positioning
• Prepares the next patient for scanning to optimize scheduling
• Restores and networks all previous exams for next day patients
• Stocks and cleans work areas and MRI room(s) to maintain organization
• Maintains stocked patient prep room and patient restroom
• Organizes radiologist reading area and coordinates with Front Office team
• Performs other duties as assigned

RAYUS now offers DailyPay! Work today, get paid today! RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Technologists Assistant IIto join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Technologists Assistant II, you willbe responsible for providing patients clinical care ranging from medical intake, history, administering procedures, stress tests, along others with within scope of practice in assisting the Technologists. This is a part-time position working 18 hours per week. Shifts areMonday-Friday from 4:30pm-8:00pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(70%) Technologist Assistance

• Monitors schedules for all modalities, arthrograms, and image scans, adjusting as necessary and keeping technologists informed of changes.
• Greets and escorts patients to changing room; briefly explains procedure
• Prepares patient jackets and compiles films putting them together in appropriate jacket according to date and number
• Assists technologists in room set up between patients, including putting proper coil on table, putting previous coil away and changing table sheet
• Prepares the next patient for scanning before the current patient completes their procedure to optimize scheduling.
• Restores and networks all previous exams for next day's returning patients

(20%) Cleaning & Organization

• Stocks and cleans work and control areas and MRI room(s)
• Ensures that all patient imaging areas are stocked and organized in a neat and tidy manner
• Cleans and stocks patient prep room and patient restroom
• Stocks linen and empties laundry at the end of the night
• Organizes and cleans supply closet and computer rooms
• Organizes radiologist reading area after radiologist has left for the day
• Checks with technologists of all modalities, Medical Records and/or Front Office team members to assist with any additional duties as needed

Required:

• Must be 16 years of age
• One (1) year experience as a Technologists Assistant (I)

Preferred:

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in a Radiologic Technologist program
