Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a part-time Technologists Assistant for Saturday–Sunday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, to support Technologists and ensure smooth scanning operations. The role emphasizes patient prep, room setup, and maintaining organized imaging areas in a fast-paced radiology department.

Requirements include being at least 16 years old; preferred candidates hold a High School diploma or equivalent and may be enrolled in a Radiologic Technologist program. DailyPay is available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Radiologic Technologist program enrollment.

Responsibilities

• 70% Technologist assistance: monitor schedules, greet patients, prep films, assist with room setup, prep next patient, organize exams.
• 20% Cleaning and organization: stock and clean MRI/work areas, keep imaging spaces neat, tidy and stocked.
• 5% Other duties as assigned: various projects and tasks as needed.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.48 based on direct and relevant experience.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Technologists Assistant to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Technologists Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting/supporting the Technologists in a variety of ways (based on need), allowing the Technologists patient schedules to remain on time. This role is also responsible for ensuring that the scanning area runs smoothly, is maintained and kept organized. This is a part time position working Saturday - Sunday from 9AM - 5:30PM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(70%) Technologist Assistance

1. Monitors schedules for all modalities, arthrograms, and image scans, adjusting as necessary and keeping technologists informed of changes.
2. Greets and escorts patients to changing room; briefly explains procedure
3. Prepares patient jackets and compiles films putting them together in appropriate jacket according to date and number
4. Assists technologists in room set up between patients, including putting proper coil on table, putting previous coil away and changing table sheet
5. Prepares the next patient for scanning before the current patient completes their procedure to optimize scheduling.
6. Restores and networks all previous exams for next day's returning patients

(20%) Cleaning & Organization

1. Stocks and cleans work and control areas and MRI room(s)
2. Ensures that all patient imaging areas are stocked and organized in a neat and tidy manner
3. Cleans and stocks patient prep room and patient restroom
4. Stocks linen and empties laundry at the end of the night
5. Organizes and cleans supply closet and computer rooms
6. Organizes radiologist reading area after radiologist has left for the day
7. Checks with technologists of all modalities, Medical Records and/or Front Office team members to assist with any additional duties as needed
