Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a Radiology Tech / ARRT / Diagnostic Imaging with a sign-on bonus. The technologist will operate ionizing radiation equipment under Texas licensure, develop films using PACS, prepare rooms, gather supplies, and ensure equipment safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include assisting radiologists, maintaining patient care standards, following HIPAA and safety protocols, and supervising students as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered radiologic technologist with Texas license.
• CPR certification (AHA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiologic procedures with appropriate techniques.
• Assist radiologist and staff physicians as needed.
• Demonstrate radiographic skills and patient care.
• Use immobilization devices per policy and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Perform contrast injections per policy and ensure safety.
• Supervise, delegate, and evaluate performance of students where applicable.
• Maintain effective communications and problem resolution; act as a professional role model.
• Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff; follow ALARA and infection control standards.
