Job summary

North Central Baptist Hospitals is seeking a Radiology Tech to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across patient ages. The role requires ARRT certification or eligible, Texas license, and BLS. The tech will assist in OR procedures, operate C-arm systems, and ensure image quality and patient safety.

Sign-on bonus of $7,500 is offered. The position requires a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and may involve rotating through advanced radiology areas, including trauma

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Active Texas Medical Board license; ARRT certification or eligible; ARRT within 1 year of graduation.
• BLS required on hire; AHA/BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs using appropriate equipment and protocols.
• Maintains aseptic techniques and manages contrast media as prescribed.
• Rotates through advanced radiology procedures including OR, urography, trauma.
• Evaluates image quality and documentation; assists with fluoroscopy and intraoperative procedures.
• Communicates with patients to obtain clinical information and ensure safety and comfort.
• Ensures safety and proper patient positioning; adheres to pregnancy checks and LMP.
