Los Robles Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to obtain medical radiographs in a hospital setting and to support radiologists with imaging procedures.

You will deliver high-quality care, maintain proper positioning and exposure, and assist with procedures and patient transport. The role requires California radiography and fluoroscopy certifications, current BCLS, and ARRT registration preferred. Competitive benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Obtain high-quality radiographs in a hospital setting with correct positioning and exposure.
• Assist the Radiologist or physician as needed.
• Transport patients and assist in patient registration.
• Process, copy, and release radiology images and CDs.
• Assist in invasive procedures as required.
• Prepare and assist in administration of contrast media and take vital signs.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist whose primary function is to obtain medical radiographs in a hospital setting.

• You will be responsible for delivering high quality care while obtaining correctly positioned and adequately exposed radiographs and for keeping current with new technology.
• You will assist the Radiologist or physician, as necessary.
• You will be expected to be competent in transporting patients and assisting in registration of patients.
• You will be expected to be competent in processing, copying and releasing of radiology images and CDs.
• You may be asked to assist the Radiologist or physician to assist in invasive procedures.
• You may be asked to do vital signs, prepare and assist in the administration of contrast media.

What qualifications you will need:

• Must be certified by the state of California for Radiography
• Must be certified by the state of California for Fluoroscopy
• Registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is preferred
• Technologists must be current with continuing education requirements
• Current American Heart Association BCLS certification
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of asepsis
• Ability to identify problems, generate and analyze feasible solutions and choose an optimum course of action
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Strong interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of teamwork
