Under general supervision, this position provides technical knowledge and/or coordinates and monitors radiological services for adult and pediatric outpatients. The incumbent operates various x-ray, Dexa, and auxiliary equipment to produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Work quality is reviewed by the quality control technologist, chief technologist, or radiologist.

The Radiologic Technologist must adhere to department protocols, UC Davis Health Policies, and applicable regulations. The role requires initiative and responsibility to maximize imaging quality, performing duties calmly under stress and cooperating with radiologists, clinicians, and peers. All functions must be performed as deemed by the Department of Radiology.
