Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for main radiology procedures under supervision. Candidates must be trained to work with patients from newborn to geriatric and to operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires an Associate degree in radiologic technology, ARRT registration or eligibility, MA DPH radiologic licensure, and CPR/BLS certification. Per diem schedule and rotating shifts apply.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training in Radiologic Technology.
  • Radiologic Technologist License issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiation Control Board required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or become registered within 12 months of hire.
  • CPR/BLS certification/training required.
  • Must maintain minimum requirements for CEU credits as per ARRT guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a Physician, Operations Manager, and Diagnostic Clinical Supervisor.
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images for patients from newborn to geriatric.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures with safety and accuracy.

Job Summary NEW GRADS WELCOME!

Performs a variety of radiographic procedures and duties primarily in main radiology, under the direction of a qualified Physician, Operations Manager, and Diagnostic Clinical Supervisor, using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation. Performs all activities according to federal, state, local and hospital policies and procedures to a variety of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age. Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training in Radiologic Technology required.
  • Radiologic Technologist License issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiation Control Board required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or become registered within 12 months of hire.
  • CPR/BLS certification/training required.
  • Must maintain minimum requirements for acquiring Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) as mandated by State and ARRT Guidelines.
