Job Summary and Qualifications
Position will be 4 x 10 hour shifts.

Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a broad range of services to aid in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and emergent injuries. A few responsibilities of our Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) include:

  • Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
  • Under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform x-ray therapy on patients and explain procedures to patients and address their concerns.
  • Serve patients in our emergency department, hospital, and outpatient settings.
  • Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
  • Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
  • Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
  • Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate.
