Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform diagnostic radiography procedures, apply ionizing radiation safely per ALARA standards, and assist in patient positioning to optimize image quality and comfort.

Duties include administering intravenous contrast when indicated, operating radiographic equipment, developing and organizing films, and collaborating with radiologists and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential required.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiography procedures with ionizing radiation per ALARA standards.
• Administers intravenous contrast agents when indicated.
• Regulates X-ray equipment and develops/organizes films.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Administers intravenous diagnostic contrast agents, regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and organizes films.
