Job Responsibilities:

1. Produce high-quality diagnostic x-ray images with attention to radiation safety and proper documentation.
2. Ensure patient safety through pre-screening and aseptic techniques.
3. Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and team members.
4. Assist in training new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators as applicable.
5. Troubleshoot equipment including X-ray units, computers, and PACS systems.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification and state license, if applicable.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license, if applicable.
• For fixed settings: completion of radiology school, ability to work at multiple locations, customer service, organizational, and computer skills.
• For mobile settings: minimum one year radiography or digital x-ray experience preferred.
• Ability to travel locally.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.

Physical Requirements:

Exposure to weather, radiation, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases. Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, repetitive movements, stooping, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and transferring patients.
