Requirements

Certified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech)

Start Date: 5/19/2025 | Available Shifts: 12 N | Pay Rate: $1559.14 - $1708.42

Job Responsibilities:

1. Takes radiographs per physician orders.
2. Must be versatile within the diagnostic department of Radiology.
3. Protects all patients and employees from unnecessary radiation.
4. Has knowledge of front desk operations, computer systems, and reports equipment problems to the manager and Clinical Engineers.
5. Can schedule all exams through the department and alert a supervisor when necessary.
6. Uses the centralized transport program for patient transportation.
7. Looks up pertinent information in computer systems concerning patient exams, ordering, reprinting, or canceling when necessary.
8. Interacts professionally with other departments.
9. Calls in on-call imaging associates as required.
10. Reports equipment problems to clinical engineering and managers, communicates messages to co-workers.
11. Remains available for assignment as needed.
12. Assists Radiologic Technologist Students.
13. Performs duties related to equipment quality assurance, regulatory compliance, ordering supplies, scheduling staff, and audits.
14. Accesses patient records as part of normal operations.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Knowledge of medical terminology, sterile techniques/procedures.
• Patient positioning and equipment operation (x-ray machines and printers).

Qualifications:

• Certified Radiology Technologist, Radiology
• License: RAD-OH (Copy needed)
• Certifications: R - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Copy needed); BLS-AHA (Copy needed)
• SSN required
• Date of Birth required
• Work history gap: no more than 30 days
• References: 1 within last 12 months
