Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Radiology Department provides services for screening, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsibilities include:

• Operating x-ray equipment to produce radiographs.
• Performing x-ray therapy under Radiologist supervision, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns.
• Serving emergency, hospital, and outpatient patients.
• Performing procedures per protocols for all age groups.
• Maintaining technical and patient-care skills to ensure quality results.

Qualifications include:

• Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program with ARRT certification.
• Maintain current registry through continuing education.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• Vocational School Graduate.
