Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Graduate of an AMA-accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Knowledge of anatomy and related pathological processes. Ability to communicate effectively with radiologists and physicians to coordinate proper imaging. Strong communication skills are essential to provide excellent patient and family care. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience
Minimum one year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist preferred.
Licensure and Certification
Must be a Registered Technologist (ARRT). State of Ohio licensure is required.
Physical and Environmental Demands
Requires standing and walking for extended periods; ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds; assist with patient positioning and transportation (e.g., pushing beds, stretchers, wheelchairs); operate equipment with motor coordination.
