Job Overview:
We are seeking Licensed X-Ray Technicians with Medical Assisting duties for full-time, part-time, or per diem roles across multiple Urgent Care Facilities. Shifts cover days, evenings, and weekends. Both experienced and entry-level candidates are welcome. This role involves X-Ray CR Imaging only, requiring basic radiology knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent customer service skills.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Perform diagnostic x-rays following departmental policies and safety standards.
  2. Ensure radiology reports are imported into the EMR system.
  3. Monitor PACS systems (Clarity PACS and OnePacs).
  4. Burn CDs for patients upon request.
  5. Gather background information by asking questions and leaving notes for providers.
  6. Review health summaries with patients, ensuring accuracy.
  7. Record patient vitals.
  8. Follow up on all clinical processes promptly.
  9. Update patients’ pharmacy preferences in Experity and process prescriptions.
  10. Order labs and imaging, ensuring proper coding.
  11. Document interactions accurately and timely.
  12. Assist providers during exams and procedures, including chaperoning.
  13. Maintain sterile techniques and process specimens properly.
  14. Prepare exam rooms with necessary instruments.
  15. Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth clinic flow.
  16. Communicate delays or issues to maintain high-quality patient experience.
  17. Monitor schedule check-ins and respond promptly.
  18. Perform phlebotomy, including difficult sticks, confidently.
  19. Review labs with providers and communicate results to patients.
  20. Close out labs daily and maintain clinic cleanliness and orderliness.

Minimum Requirements | Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Basic radiology fundamentals; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Preferred | Desired Experience:

  • Radiology
  • Urgent Care

Special Skills | Training:

  • BLS Certification (preferred).
  • California State Diagnostic License (required).
