Note: This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide medical services as a Radiology Technician to maintain the health of employees and client personnel.
  2. Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound, and document patient care services appropriately.
  3. Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning, immobilizing, and adjusting equipment.
  4. Gain patient cooperation by explaining procedures and addressing questions to reduce anxiety.
  5. Minimize radiation exposure by practicing radiation safety techniques.
  6. Follow infection control policies and protocols, manage drug reactions, and administer first aid when necessary.
  7. Maintain image quality by following standards, developing images, and adjusting equipment as needed.
  8. Ensure proper operation of radiology equipment through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
  9. Manage radiology supplies, check inventory, and place orders as needed.
  10. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with regulations.
  11. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an approved Radiology Technician program leading to a diploma, certificate, or associate degree.
  • Unrestricted state license or ARRT certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiology Technician.
  • Current certification in BLS or CPR.
  • Experience in performing CT procedures, including contrast exams.
  • Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, stay organized, and communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shift changes and operational needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for inquiry resolution and responsiveness.
  • Recent clinical experience in direct patient care, with at least 6 months in the last 12 months in the relevant field.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
  • Prolonged sitting and standing.
  • Possible bending, stooping, and lifting for patient care.
