***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.***
Provide Ultrasound Technologist services to preserve the health of employees and client personnel.
Assist and guide Radiographers in performing x-ray procedures.
Perform routine procedures on patients requiring specialized expertise.
Prepare ultrasound area, equipment, contrast materials, and supplies for patients.
Assist Radiologists, Physicians, and allied health professionals in diagnostic or treatment procedures.
Perform diagnostic testing on equipment and conduct general maintenance.
Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and adjusting equipment.
Develop films following photographic techniques.
Monitor patient and equipment conditions during procedures and report changes.
Perform diagnostic imaging exams such as X-rays, CT, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound.
Document patient care services in records.
Ensure patient cooperation by providing explanations and reducing anxieties.
Minimize radiation exposure using protective techniques and devices.
Follow infection-control policies and protocols.
Maintain quality and production standards, develop radiographs, and observe results for adjustments.
Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
Manage ultrasound supplies and inventory.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Completed an approved Radiology Technologist program leading to a Diploma, Certificate, or Associate's degree.
Two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including one year of ultrasound experience.
Valid license and current registration as a Radiological Technologist.
CPR certification.
Proficiency in computer and MS Office applications.
Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate effectively.
Willingness to work in remote or challenging environments.
Ability to perform duties in high-stress environments without physical limitations.
Flexibility to adapt to shift changes and operational needs.
Work is typically performed in an interior/office environment.
Sitting and standing for extended periods.
