Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Radiographer for our outpatient imaging department in Orlando, FL. The role involves performing fluoroscopic procedures, patient care, physician assistance, and related clerical duties to support complete patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold a Florida-licensed Radiologic Technologist certificate, have hands-on radiologic technique training, and the ability to work without weekends, nights, holidays, or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiology per Florida DOH.
• Two years radiologic experience under a licensed radiologist; nurse substitute details.
• Two-year AMA-certified radiologic technology program in collaboration with radiology society.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of various ages.
• Position patients and shield appropriately to ensure safety.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures prior to imaging.
• Operate radiologic equipment and produce diagnostic radiographs.
• Maintain equipment and related records.
