Qualifications

• Current ARRT(R) Certification required.
• Must have a Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist License.
• Prior radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient medical history prior to exams.
• Interpret physician orders and scanning instructions accurately.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety.
• Properly position patients for optimal diagnostic images.
• Maintain patient safety and follow radiation safety protocols.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Knowledge of radiologic procedures and safety standards

Experience with venipuncture preferred

Education

ARRT(R) Certification
