Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging in all departments, including OR and Fluoroscopy, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

This full-time, Day-Weekend role emphasizes infection control, accurate documentation, and high-quality imaging while maintaining compassion for patients and families. Sign-on bonus available and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School grad required.
• 2+ years radiology tech experience required.
• BLS CPR certification required; RT(R) ARRt certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain infection control using PPE and disinfectants.
• Keep a stocked, organized, clean room.
• Complete Radiologist support documentation and clerical duties.
• Provide direct patient care, monitor patient condition, ensure safety and comfort.
• Obtain patient history and explain procedures.
• Perform radiology exams across departments including OR and Fluoroscopy.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and follow protocols.
• Identify patients and educate about the exam.
• Screen patients for contrast allergies and pregnancy risks.
• Position patients/equipment to meet Radiologist standards.
• Adapt protocols for patients of all ages.
