HCA Florida Aventura Orthopedics is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Florida. The role focuses on performing radiology procedures, recording patient information in EHR, and maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The position emphasizes ongoing learning in diagnostic imaging, adherence to safety procedures, and alignment with our mission and values. This is a full-time day-shift role with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree from an accredited x-ray program.
• Two years training in Radiology Technology with basic x-ray experience.
• Current ARRT license in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely radiology procedures for follow up evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Properly record patient information and maintain EHR.
• Maintain patient comfort and adhere to proper safety procedures.
• Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and x-ray tech skills with support from outside educational resources.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic/x-ray equipment.
• May assist with general patient care if needed.
• Honor and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values statements.

Education

What you will do in this role:

What Qualifications you will need:

• Must hold a degree from an accredited x-ray program
• Two years training in an accredited school for Radiology Technology, basic x-ray experience, and trauma work is required
• Must have a current ARRT and license in accordance to state regulations
• TENNESSEE ONLY: Must be additionally licensed by the state to perform radiologic services in a physician practice or clinic
