Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (NYS) required.
• ARRT certification required.
• OHS Fit Test and Annual Assessment required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and room for radiographic examinations.
• Obtain radiographic images according to physician protocols.
• Label images with patient identifiers and correct side markers.
• Maintain records of films and fluoroscopy time.
• Follow radiation safety and patient identification rules strictly.
• Assist in administration of contrast material as directed by physician.
• Train students as needed.
• Keep assigned area clean and orderly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
