Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification and NY DOH Radiologic Technologist license.
• Associate degree or formal radiologic technology training required.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in radiology.
• Ability to read and follow radiologic and medical terminology instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and rooms and enter data into Epic.
• Position patients and obtain scout films.
• Obtain cut films and digital images with proper exposures.
• Assist interventional radiologists during procedures.
• Maintain imaging workflow in Epic and PACS Vue.
• Label, process, and display images for radiologist interpretation.
• Train staff and students and maintain area cleanliness.
• Perform 5T/4T technologist duties as needed.
