Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• NY State registration as Radiologic Technologist is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• OHS Fit Test and annual assessment must be completed.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations during pain management interventional procedures.
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
• Enter patient data into computer systems and ensure accurate records.
• Prepare patient and room; ensure proper equipment and linen availability.
• Position patients, set exposures, and immobilize devices as needed for quality images.
• Label images correctly with patient identifiers and side markers.
• Maintain records of films, fluoro time, and related documentation.
• Observe radiation safety and prevent misidentification or misadministration.
• Assist in administration of contrast material when required.
• Train students and maintain an orderly work area.
