Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in Conway, AR is seeking experienced radiology professionals (ARRT X‑ray techs) to perform x‑ray testing and related medical assistant duties in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role requires AR state X‑Ray license, BLS, and preferably ARRT certification; duties include patient positioning, safety, and equipment checks with a rotating 36–40 hour schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• AR state X-Ray license required.
• ARRT certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting areas, exam rooms, and radiology areas.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through treatment steps.
• Assist with radiology procedures and patient safety practices.
• Document vitals, medical history, medications and allergies.
• Assist with patient transfers and MA duties as needed.
• Maintain equipment readiness and report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Perform quality control procedures to ensure exam accuracy.
