Job summary

Ridgeview Imaging in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform high quality diagnostic x-rays and interventional exams in accordance with established procedures. The role requires AMA-accredited radiology training, ARRT registration, CPR certification, and the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff. The position features a weekend schedule and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduates from AMA-accredited school of Radiology.
• Meets basic requirements for ARRT accreditation.
• ARRT-registered and CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
• Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• Performs intravenous access technique as needed.
• Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Alternative Work Schedule

Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-8:30pm and Monday 9am-5:30pm. Work 64 hours, get paid 80 hours.

Purpose of Job

This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and interventional exams in accordance with established procedures.

Job Functions

• Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
• Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• Performs intravenous access technique as needed.
• Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education / Work Experience

• Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiology
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray and CT scans
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
• Lead:
• Displays a higher level of problem solving, conflict management and communications skills

License / Certifications

• Registered by the ARRT
• CPR Certified
