Job summary

Ridgeview in Minnesota is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high quality diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams according to established procedures, ensuring patient safety and image accuracy.

Responsibilities include coordinating with radiologists, maintaining equipment, preparing patients, and supporting a team environment across Ridgeview Imaging locations. ARRT certification and CPR are required; we offer a competitive benefits package and sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation.
• Registered by the ARRT and CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, providers, and staff professionally to ensure safety.
• Produces high quality diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist to confirm data accuracy.
• Performs intravenous access technique as needed.
• Maintains room and equipment cleaning between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and interventional exams in accordance with established procedures.

Job Functions

• Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
• Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• Performs intravenous access technique as needed.
• Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Work Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray and CT scans
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above

License/Certifications

• Registered by the ARRT
• CPR Certified
