Job summary

Ridgeview is seeking a Radiology Technician to perform high quality diagnostic x-rays in accordance with established procedures.

The role requires ARRT registration, CPR certification, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray scans.
• Ability to meet and maintain background checks.
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team.
• Capable of independent decision making with critical thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to communicate in English for written and verbal duties.

Job Functions

• Interacts with patients, providers and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
• Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Work Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
• Registered by the ARRT

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray scans
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
