Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Radiology Tech for a Specialty Surgical Practice in Riverview, FL. This full-time position supports the PEDI ORTHO service line, with shift hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Roles include diagnostic imaging, RIS data management, and patient transport as needed.

Required education includes high school or equivalent, plus an radiology-specific credential (Associate or Technical). BLS is required; prior 1-year radiology or medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; radiology training required.
• Associates degree or technical radiology program required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Provides diagnostic imaging services to support the specialty surgical office.
• Manages RIS data and related clerical tasks.

The Radiology Tech is responsible for:

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Supports specialty surgical office by providing diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to radiology information system (RIS) data management, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties necessary.

RequiredEducation:

• High School or Equivalent; Required - Associates - Radiology; Or - Technical - Radiology
• BLS

Experience:

• 1-year medical office or radiology experience preferred.
