Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is seeking staff to perform radiographic examinations under the Radiologist's direction and manage daily patient transport tasks. This role supports patient movement, room orientation, and coordination with nursing and clinical staff.

Responsibilities include escorting patients, using paging and phone systems for transport orders, and ensuring proper transport to departments or clinics. Requires ARRT-recognized program completion and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients, guests, and visitors to destinations using ambulatory, beds, cribs, stretchers, and wheelchairs.
• Coordinate daily activities including performing examinations and associated clerical duties.
• Retrieves, cleans, and stores all unused patient transport equipment.
• Verifies registration of outpatients and transports to appropriate departments or clinics.
