Job summary

Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and regulatory standards. The role interfaces with patients to fulfill imaging needs and contributes to PI/QC activities.

Responsibilities include processing and transmitting images to PACS, while adhering to HFAP/TJC/local regulations. This is a full-time days-variable position in the Radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiology Technology Program.
• Current State Certification to work as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• At least one year of clinical Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

2. Current State Certification to work as a Radiologic Technologist
3. Current BCLS (AHA)
