Qualifications

  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
  • Proficient in computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to protocols.
  • Acts as the first line interface with customers for imaging needs.
  • Participates in quality improvement and compliance activities.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Skills

Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
ARRT-R certification

Salary range: $1,132.80-$1653.20 gross per week (based on 40 hours)

A Radiology Tech performs medical imaging, ensures patient safety, and assists doctors in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
