Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures with independence and professional judgment. This role requires ARRT radiography certification and CPR, with responsibilities spanning patient positioning, imaging quality control, contrast administration, and equipment readiness.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and requires an associate degree or equivalent, with preferred prior radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
• Preferred prior radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results and ensures image quality, reporting issues as needed.
• Reviews patient history and physician orders; educates patient about procedures, equipment and exam.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope; monitors patient condition and responds to changes.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters; ensures safety and performs quality control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
