Job summary

Qualifications

• CA Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification is required; ARRT CT and Fluoroscopy licenses must be obtained within 18 months of hire/transfer.
• Preferred: IV Certification.
• Experience: Diagnostic Tech and CT Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates Multi-Slice CT equipment with correct scan angles, slices, and protocols for high image quality.
• Ensures radiation safety per ALARA principles for patients and staff.
• Verifies physician orders and communicates with radiologists or managers as needed.
• Explains CT procedures to patients and assesses eligibility for contrast.
• Transfers and positions patients for CT exams; administers contrast as required.
