Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform general diagnostic radiography across patient ages, maintain image quality, and support imaging workflows.

You will operate digital radiography equipment, use PACS/RIS/Meditech, follow infection control, and assist radiologists during procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. A Texas license and ARRT certification are required.

Competenze

• Must hold Radiologic Technology certificate and license to practice.
• ARRT certification required within 6 months of hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date.

Mansioni

• Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult patients and ensure comfort.
• Perform general diagnostic radiography and positioning with digital equipment.
• Utilize PACS, RIS, and Meditech for scheduling, image tracking and exam documentation.
• Follow infection control/universal precautions in all tasks.
• Assist radiologist during procedures and manage patient history collection.
• Report equipment issues promptly to supervisor and ensure safe shutdown/reboot of radiology systems.
