Qualifications

• Must have Texas Medical Board Radiologic Technologist Certification
• ARRT certification required by hire or within 6 months
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date
• Associates degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology
• Experience: None required
• Preferred hospital setting experience with PACS and digital radiology

Responsibilities

• Provide care to pediatric to adult patients with radiology procedures
• Operate digital radiography equipment and manage PACS
• Utilize RIS/Meditech for scheduling, patient tracking, and imaging charges
• Follow infection control and universal precautions in all tasks
• Assist radiologist during procedures and obtain patient history
• Report equipment issues to supervisor and ensure safe shutdown of equipment
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and mobile equipment
