Job summary

Methodist Hospital Texsan is seeking a CT Technician to perform computed tomography exams, position patients, and ensure high-quality imaging for all ages. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and accurate use of the Radiology Information System.

Candidates should have ARRT Radiography certification and an appropriate credential (Certificate or Associate Degree). Training on Meditech and CT equipment is required to support our patient-centered care culture.

Qualifications

• Competency in CT imaging and patient positioning.
• Familiarity with CT equipment, injections, and biopsy devices.
• Ability to follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT systems, position patients, and prepare procedures accurately.
• Use Meditech for scheduling, tracking exams, and charge capture.
• Provide care across neonate to geriatric patients.
• Maintain CT room cleanliness and supplies; restock as needed.
• Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and patients.
• Participate in safety programs and dose monitoring activities.
