Job description

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the radiologists and the supervision of the Director of Radiology, operates a Computerized Tomographic scanner to image the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities.

Essential Requirements:

Must be a graduate of an American Medical Association‑approved school of radiologic technology and be registered in at least radiography. Additional certification in computed tomography is preferred. Training and/or experience specific to radiology practices regarding neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients are required and must be willing to cross‑train in additional imaging modalities. Proven ability to interact effectively with patients, co‑workers, practitioners, and visitors, willingness to work in a team‑oriented environment, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills are required. Familiarity with computer applications is required, Meditech Health Information System is preferred, and must have technical aptitude and a willingness to learn software applications.

Additionally, if Weeks Medical Center is not your designated home base, you will be eligible for travel reimbursement in accordance with our standard travel policy.
