Job summary

A regional healthcare facility in Colebrook, NH is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate a CT scanner under the supervision of radiologists. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications, including registration in radiography and experience with various patient demographics. Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Medical Association-approved school of radiologic technology.
• Registered in at least radiography.
• Additional certification in computed tomography preferred.
• Training and/or experience in radiology practices for various patient demographics.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with Meditech Health Information System preferred.
• Familiarity with computer applications required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Computerized Tomographic scanner to image various body parts.
• Share on call duties including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the radiologists and the supervision of the Director of Radiology. Operates Computerized Tomographic scanner to image the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities.

Essential Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an American Medical Association-approved school of radiologic technology. Must be registered in at least radiography. Additional certification in computed tomography is preferred. Training and/or experience specific to radiology practices regarding neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients are required. Must be willing to cross-train in additional imaging modalities. A proven ability to interact effectively with patients, co-workers, practitioners, and visitors is required. Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment is necessary. Effective communication skills are required. Ability to work independently. Familiarity with Meditech Health Information System is preferred. Familiarity with computer applications is required. Must have technical aptitude and a willingness to learn software applications.

Sharing on call duties is required including nights, weekends and holidays.
