Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
1 year healthcare or customer service experience preferred.
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Assist patient care team with transport, check-in, exam review, preparation, and education.
Assist in care of diagnostic radiology equipment and supplies.
Set up and adjust radiology equipment per radiologist protocol.
Receive and review requests for radiologic studies.
Accept patients and assess their condition for proper handling.
Explain and prepare patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
Use PPE to assist patients and staff with transport and imaging.
Perform duties required to conduct examinations/procedures.
Maintain inventory and adhere to safety regulations.
Perform clerical duties in EMR and PACS systems.
