Responsibilities

• Assist patient care team with transport, check-in, exam prep, and education.
• Care for diagnostic radiology equipment and supplies.
• Set up and adjust equipment per radiologist protocol.
• Receive and review requests for radiologic studies.
• Assess patient condition and determine handling requirements.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for radiographs/fluoroscopy.
• Apply PPE to protect patients and staff during imaging.
• Maintain inventory and ensure safety compliance.
• Perform clerical tasks in EMR and PACS systems.
