Job summary

The role interfaces with patients and the care team to facilitate examinations, performs clerical duties in EMR/PACs, and adheres to safety regulations while maintaining inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in healthcare or customer service is preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) is required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient care team with services such as transport/check-in/prep/education.
• Assist in care of diagnostic radiology equipment and supplies.
• Set up and adjust radiology equipment per radiologist protocol.
• Receive and review requests for radiologic studies.
• Assist in patient handling and determine any special requirements.
• Explain and prepare patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Maintain PPE usage for safety during imaging procedures.
• Perform clerical duties in EMR and PACs.
