Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Associates Degree Radiology Required.
• Florida Radiology Technologist license upon hire required.
• ARRT Board Registry upon hire required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in care and maintenance of Diagnostic Radiology equipment and supplies.
• Sets up and adjusts Diagnostic Radiology equipment per radiologist protocol for exams.
• Operates radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality radiographs using ALARA standards.
• Reviews requests for radiologic studies and assesses patient conditions.
• Explains procedures to patients and prepares them for radiographic and fluoroscopic exams.
• Maintains aseptic technique and follows safety procedures.
• Performs and assists with higher-complexity examinations as needed.
• Quality controls images, manages inventory, and participates in training.
