Bluegrass Orthopaedics is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Lexington, KY. This role will operate imaging equipment, perform diagnostic procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

The Radiologic Technologist will work with a radiology tech assistant to support daily tasks within the clinic, maintaining required professional licenses and certifications and supporting the clinical team as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escorting them to and from exam rooms and providing clear instructions.
• Position patients and equipment properly to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Operate radiologic equipment following established requirements and regulations.
• Apply radiation safety measures and protection devices to safeguard patients and staff.
• Maintain and monitor equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Manage imaging orders and documentation within the EMR system.

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escorting them to and from exam rooms and providing clear instructions.
• Position patients and equipment properly to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Operate radiologic equipment following established requirements and regulations.
• Apply radiation safety measures and protection devices to safeguard patients and staff.
• Maintain and monitor equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Manage imaging orders and documentation within the EMR system.
• Monitor and communicate supply needs to the Radiology Supervisor.
• Support the clinical team as needed, including obtaining vital signs and assisting with patient flow.
• Maintain required professional licenses and certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
