• Apply radiation safety measures.
• Maintain and monitor imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions.
• Document imaging orders in the EMR system.
• Support the clinical team and assist with patient flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escorting them to and from exam rooms and providing clear instructions.
• Position patients and equipment properly to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Operate radiologic equipment following established requirements and regulations.
• Apply radiation safety measures and protection devices to safeguard patients and staff.
• Maintain and monitor equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Manage imaging orders and documentation within the EMR system.
• Monitor and communicate supply needs to the Radiology Supervisor.
• Support the clinical team as needed, including obtaining vital signs and assisting with patient flow.
• Maintain required professional licenses and certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
